Job Description: This is a permanent, part-time vacancy. This position is eligible for partial full employer contribution of insurance benefits.
This is a vacancy within the Community Behavioral Health Hospital (CBHH) located in Annandale. The CBHH provides short-term, acute inpatient psychiatric services at a 16-bed community-based site. Natural support structures can be incorporated into treatment by serving patients as close as possible to their home communities.
The person selected for this position will have the following
Responsibilities:
1. To facilitate admission and discharge functions.
2. To complete the demographic/technical admission procedure for patients entering the CBHH so that an optimum level of health and comfort may be attained.
3. To provide optimal physical and mental health care according to scope of position so that optimal health and outcomes can be achieved and maintained.
4. To maintain an acceptable environment of care.
5. To participate as a member of the integrated treatment team in the development/implementation of individual patient behavioral treatment plans and by promoting illness management and recovery process.
6. To perform delegated treatments and procedures within policy.
7. To maintain a hazard-free environment through awareness of safety standards and response to emergency calls so that major crises may be prevented and/or handled appropriately.
8. To perform housekeeping tasks so that a healthful and aesthetic environment is maintained.
9. To actively participate in and assist with the collection, organization of monitoring and evaluation data as requested so that patient care services are continuously maintained and improved.
10. To participate in in-service training and quality improvement activities so that the best possible care is provided to patients.
Minimum
Qualifications: To qualify, you must have:
-the ability to read and write English sufficient to understand and follow directions and to maintain records and documentation,
-human relations skills sufficient to establish rapport with and provide direction to service recipients
-valid State of Minnesota Driver''s License

Requires occasionally lifting such articles as file boxes and or heavier materials with help from others and/or lifting and carrying light objects frequently. Even though the weights being lifted may only be a negligible amount, a job is in this category may require walking or standing to a significant degree or may involve sitting most of the time with a degree of pushing and pulling of arm and/or leg controls.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
