Are you an authentic equity and design partner? HGA is seeking an Equity Specialist to advance, advocate and foster a culture of inclusion through commitment and dedication to HGAs equity initiatives and work across the A&E industry.
This position reports to the Director of Equity and partners with key stakeholders across the firm, including firm and local leadership groups, the National and local equity ally groups, our clients, and our external partners.
In this role you will:
:
facilitate stakeholder engagement to ensure inclusive design; collaborate and foster honest conversations, both internally and externally, to engage and meet communities where they are; gather insights to inform and inspire innovative design solutions; contribute to holistic design by developing tools and resources; through intentional relationship building, strengthen the gaps between, equity, architecture, interior design and engineering disciplines in order to find strategic process efficiencies that leverage the value each discipline and individual team member brings; perform target research and outreach; offer thought leadership as an outcome of local and national communities; and provide visuals, note-taking, and storytelling to strengthen project expectations.
You will need to have:

BA or BS degree in relevant field or 5
years of related work experience in an interdisciplinary or built environment; Masters degree preferred Demonstrated sensitivity, knowledge, and understanding of the diverse background in the firm, including regional and culture-specific contexts, with a continuous focus on healthy relationship building Effective in communicating and presenting ideas clearly and concisely, while also listening carefully to understand differing points of view Evidence of strong emotional intelligence and conflict management skills Associated with national diversity and equity organization Salary Information:

Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGAs robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs.
Salary Range:
$63,800 - $114,700.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
